Hi, I'm David and I'll be your "computer guy" this evening.

My name is David Hess, and I'm a guy who loves technology. Seriously, some people "end up" in their profession, but I was meant for mine. I live and breathe computers. If I'm not doing it for work, I'm learning more about them at home. If I'm not learning at home, I'm trying to re-wire the house. Sometimes I feel sorry for my wife- but that's just the kind of guy I am.

When I was younger, family and friends were always putting me to work. "David, teach me how to check e-mail", or "David, my internet isn't working". This started when I was 10 and has gone on ever since. When I grew older I realized that I wasn't limited to my family and friends, everybody needs help with their computers at some point. So I got to thinking- why should I get a job working in some boring office when there are so many opportunities in the homes and businesses of the community? I love meeting people and I love technology-so I decided to become a computer guy for hire.

WCI Technologies is me, my wife, my infant son, and a few close friends who help me work on computers. When I'm hired to do a job for somebody, I put my enthusiasm and love of technology to work for them. I like to not only get the job done, but get it done in the best way possible.

Sometimes that means spending four hours on a job but only charging for two. Sometimes it means staying in front of my workbench until 3:00AM. That's ok- if I keep my customers happy then they'll keep coming back to me. This is the reason why I've stayed so busy for 5 years running- without doing any advertising. We live in a community where word of mouth can make you or break you-so I want to make sure that my customers only have good things to say.
